Where is Paradise, Texas?
Paradise, Texas is in Wise County. Garrett Creek Ranch is 45 miles northwest of the DFW Airport (a 45-minute to one-hour drive). We are 45 minutes from downtown Fort Worth and one hour and 15 minutes from downtown Dallas.
This room is named after Moses Austin who was a trailblazer that helped settle Texas.
What types of guest rooms are available?
The Ranch has 50 top-tier sleeping rooms; 48 rooms have two double beds and two have king-size beds. Every room has a porch with rocking chairs.

How far in advance should I schedule my event?
Because of our success in booking repeat business and gaining new clients everyday, we have a healthy calendar. We recommend that you contact us as soon as you have your dates or hear of a conference on the horizon. You can call our Sales office at (972) 680-8679.
Meeting rooms can be set up to your specifications.

What types of meeting rooms do you have?
We have six meeting rooms, in a range of sizes. All have tape-able, tack-able walls, self-controlled heating and air conditioning, a variety of self-controlled lighting, and windows.

Can Garrett Creek Ranch cater to vegetarian and special diet needs?
Absolutely!! Clients are offered a selection of menus from which to choose, and each includes a vegetarian option. When we plan your menu, we are careful to ask about dietary restrictions and special needs. It is never "out of our way" to accommodate our guests' needs.
Do you serve alcohol?
Garrett Creek Ranch has a full-service bar complete with imported and domestic beer, a wine list, and premium liquor. We can also set up remote bars by the pool and campfire. If you have a particular request, please let us know.
Does Garrett Creek Ranch require a deposit?
On signing the contract, we require full payment.
What surcharges can I expect?
None other than mandated taxes:
- 6% occupancy tax
- Any activities outside of our CMP are subject to 6.75% sales tax
Where can I check my email while I'm at the Conference Center?
Garrett Creek Ranch has a business center that is open 24 hours, in case you did not bring a laptop. There is free wireless Internet access throughout the Ranch, and we are happy to lend you a wireless card. Anywhere, anytime, anyplace... for free.
What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 3:00 p.m., and check-out is 11:00 a.m. We will be happy to store any luggage before your room is available.
Is parking available?
Free parking is available to all guests. We also have a helipad on property.
Can you accommodate wheelchairs?
Yes. We have wheelchair accessibility to our meeting rooms, common areas, and dining rooms. Many of our guest rooms can be accessed by wheelchairs, and one guest room has a full wheelchair-accommodating bathroom.

What is the maximum number of people Garrett Creek Ranch can accommodate?
Our largest meeting room can accommodate 110 people theater-style. The dining rooms can host 150 people banquet-style. Our overnight accommodations can sleep up to 98 guests.
Can I bring my own food into your facility?
Garrett Creek Ranch has a very experienced catering department. Please select from our extensive menus.

Do you allow pets?
Like any ranch, we have our own pets. We ask that you leave yours at home and enjoy ours during your stay.
What is the process and timeline in planning a conference or meeting at the Ranch?
The planning process includes the following steps:
- Contact our Dallas Sales office to secure a reservation. A contract is sent.
- Within ten days, sign the contract and send a deposit
- Your event will be assigned a Ranch planning manager with whom you will discuss logistics, meeting configuration requirements, and menus
- Send us your rooming list so that we can make guest assignments
- Enjoy Paradise!
- Evaluate meeting with sales staff

Does the Ranch host weddings and family reunions?
Yes. Garrett Creek Ranch has hosted many beautiful weddings and family reunions. We require that these events commit to all 50 guest rooms.

One of the best features about having a meeting at Garrett Creek Ranch is the casual environment. What not to wear:
