The Garrett Creek Ranch staff is led by the capable hands of Lon Yaeger, a seasoned hotelier. Lon shares the vision and passion for our two main goals; to be the best place to meet in the Southwest and to be the best place to work in Wise County. With his leadership we are well on our way of meeting these goals. Our team is committed to providing the very best customer service by anticipating our guests' needs. Though many of our staff members are trained in the technical aspects of their position, all have genuine interest in our guests. In 20 years of business, we have never received a complaint about service! This is because Garrett Creek Ranch management is committed to supporting our staff.
Since its inception, Garrett Creek Ranch has chosen not to charge gratuities or service charges. Our philosophy is that we, not our clients, are responsible for our employees' compensation. However, because some clients insist that a monetary gift be shared with staff, we opened an Employee Fund. This fund is managed and directed by a group of elected employees to pay for further staff education and to provide a helping hand in troubled times.
We treat our guests as though they were in our own homes, and we look at our team of 50 employees as family. Each staff member is devoted to the Ranch, its guests, and to each other.
