One of our first projects at Garrett Creek Ranch was to learn about outdoor education. There are two types of outdoor experiential learning:
The Shed, one of our two bars, is a wonderful place to host a cocktail reception
- Low ropes—designed for team building
- High ropes—designed for leadership training
Both programs are available in a naturally-wooded environment selected for shade and a connection with the outdoors. Some conference centers use their own staff as facilitators, but we believe that the key to success in any ropes course program is excellent facilitation. Specific lessons pertinent to your company must be custom-designed by professional trainers. We are more than happy to share a list of trainers who have worked extensively with clients at the Ranch, or you should feel free to bring your own staff.
Each of the 16 course elements receive regular inspections by staff trained in challenge course maintenance as well as an annual inspection by Adventure Experience professional challenge course inspectors.
